Franck Muller’s Curvex CX
represents a subtle evolution of the iconic Cintree Curvex tonneau that extends
the arched sapphire crystal over the ends of the bezel in a refined timepiece
with sleek lines. Its minimalist design balances sophistication with a
contemporary edge. The Grand Central Tourbillon is a spectacular complication where
the Tourbillon is in the spotlight, placed at the center of the timepiece. One
of the complexities of the collection lies in the fact that the an entire new
caliber had to be developed in order to move the Tourbillon from its original
position at 6 o’clock to the center of the watch, where the hour and minute
hands circle the beating heart of this amazing timepiece.
