Cintrée Curvex Totally Crazy Crazy is an avant-garde
timepiece that redefines traditional watchmaking with its unique non-sequential
displays. Taking Franck Muller’s iconic Crazy Hours’ one step further, Totally
Crazy disrupts conventional timekeeping by placing both the hours and dates in seemingly
random patterns around the dial. The hour hand instantaneously jumps to the
correct numeral at the top of the hour, while the date pointer will skip around
the dial in the blink of an eye to indicate the next day of the month at the stroke
of midnight. The traditional minute hand follows a standard 60-minute rotation
in a timepiece that delivers a surprise with every passing hour. The oversized,
stylized numerals are hand-painted in lustrous enamel in the “Color Dreams” palette
over a sunburst guilloche’ dial enhanced with 20 layers of translucent lacquer.
